At the frontline of energy transition

From offshore rigs to the boardroom, collaboration and bridge‑building have always been at the heart of my work.

After completing my engineering degree in Delft, I followed my own compass and curiosity across the energy landscape. That path led me into never‑been‑done‑before projects at world‑class energy companies — experiences that showed me what systemic change looks and feels like up close.

In the space of multi‑party collaboration and negotiation, I found my niche. I’m at my best when creating flow and clarity around obstacles, helping capital, institutions and people move forward. When the systems that allocate resources start to align, we can move mountains. The real work happens in those intricate frontline moments — negotiating, collaborating, and finding unconventional solutions that make ambitious projects possible.

Undercurrent is intentionally built as a lean, independent advisory practice — stepping into organisations at precisely the right moment when timing, context and momentum matter most. It is in these critical inflection points that senior attention, discretion and sector expertise create the greatest value.

Change can be deeply uncomfortable, but the energy transition demands that we learn to work with that discomfort.

With Undercurrent, I act as a partner and practical advisor to the people making the hard, often invisible decisions that shape transition agendas. My role is to make their path a little easier and amplify their impact as we write the next chapter of the industrial revolution.
